Wheel bearings are important moving parts of automobiles. The hub axle bears the responsibility of reducing the frictional resistance when the chassis is running, and maintaining the normal driving of the car. If the hub bearing fails, it may cause noise, bearing heating, etc., especially the front wheels are more obvious, which may easily lead to dangerous phenomena such as out of control. Therefore, hub bearings must be maintained on schedule. 1. Inspection of automobile wheel bearing (1) When inspecting the tightness of the wheel bearing, firstly lift up the axle of the wheel at one end of the wheel of the automobile to be inspected, and secure the car securely by using a stool, covering wood, etc. (2) Turn the wheel under test several turns by hand to see if the rotation is smooth and there is no abnormal noise. If the rotation is not smooth and there is a friction sound, it means that the braking part is abnormal; if there is no noise, the rotation is not smooth and it is loose sometimes, it means that the bearing part is abnormal. When the above abnormal phenomenon occurs, the wheel should be disassembled and inspected. For small cars, hold the upper and lower sides of the tire with both hands, and pull the tire back and forth with both hands, repeat this process many times. If normal, there should be no feeling of looseness and blockage; if the swing has obvious looseness, you should disassemble and inspect the wheel hub. (3) Inspection of braking. Usually when inspecting the hub bearing, the wheel braking device is inspected. If there is oil on the inside of the tire, it may be caused by the leakage of the brake cylinder or the brake oil pipe. The cause should be found in time to eliminate it.
