Tip 1. Use copper rods and manual hammering to install
This is an easy way to install small and medium-sized bearings. When the inner ring of the bearing is tightly fitted and the outer ring is loosely fitted, the copper rod is closely attached to the end surface of the inner ring of the bearing, and the copper rod is directly struck by the hammer, and the bearing is slowly applied to the shaft through the force transmission of the copper rod.
When the inner ring of the bearing is large, the copper rod can be evenly tapped around the end surface of the inner ring of the bearing. It is forbidden to hit only one side, and it should not be used too hard. It should be symmetrically tapped, gently tapped and slowly installed to avoid the oblique cracking bearing. .
Tip 2, using a sleeve to install
This method is the same as the use of a copper rod to mount the bearing. It presses the sleeve directly on the end face of the bearing (the end face of the inner ring is pressed when the bearing is mounted on the shaft; the end face of the outer ring is pressed when installed in the hole of the housing), and the tapping force of the hand hammer can be evenly distributed in the installation. The bearing is on the entire end face of the ferrule and can be used together with the press. The installation saves labor and time, and the quality is reliable. The sleeve used for installation should be made of soft metal (both copper or low carbon steel).
If the bearing is mounted on the shaft, the inner diameter of the sleeve should be slightly larger than the journal 1-4mm, the outer diameter is slightly smaller than the diameter of the inner ring of the bearing, or the thickness of the sleeve, the thickness should be equal to the thickness of the inner ring of the bearing. 2/3-4/5, and the ends of the sleeve should be flat and perpendicular to the barrel. If the bearing is installed in the seat hole, the outer diameter of the sleeve should be slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the bearing.
